To help your child settle smoothly into nursery life, we offer a series of three ‘Stay and Play’ sessions. These sessions are designed to support your child in becoming familiar with the routine, environment, and staff.

During the first session, parents are encouraged to stay with their child and speak with their class teacher. This helps your child feel secure while you discuss any information about their needs and routines.

The second and third sessions provide the opportunity for you to drop off your child if they are comfortable, allowing them to experience time in the nursery independently.

At the end of the three settling-in sessions, we will speak with you to confirm your child’s official start date or discuss if they would benefit from additional settling-in support. 

Settling-in sessions are scheduled at your child’s usual session times, helping them get used to the other children, daily routines, and the nursery curriculum on those days.
