Catholic School Inspection Report
What happens during a Catholic school inspection?
All Catholic schools are required to take part in a formal inspection carried out by inspectors appointed by our Diocese. During this process, inspectors evaluate every aspect of the school’s Catholic life — including leadership, the quality of religious education, worship, moral and spiritual development, and the school’s relationship with the parish and wider Catholic community.
Catholic Life and RE inspections take place every five years, with a monitoring visit in the third year. This interim visit checks that previous standards are being maintained and allows the school to share progress and ongoing developments.
