Fees, Funding & Sessions
Fees
Nursery fees are calculated at the end of each half term for the following term. Full payment is required within two weeks of receiving your invoice via email. All payments are managed through Arbor, where you can view your balance and choose to pay in instalments if needed. However, the full amount must be paid by the deadline stated on the invoice.
Please note that fees remain payable even if a child is absent due to illness, holidays, or other reasons during term time.
Full-Time Places
Children attending full-time will receive the universal 15-hour entitlement free of charge. Any additional hours beyond this will incur a charge unless families are eligible for the 30 hours of government-funded childcare.
If you qualify for the 30-hour entitlement (as outlined in the Eligibility for 30 Hours Free Childcare section), these additional hours will be funded by the government. However, please note that a 40-minute supervision period between sessions (15 minutes AM and 15 minutes PM) exceeds the government-funded entitlement and is chargeable at a rate set by the governing body to cover staffing costs.
Current Session Fees:
-
Morning Session:
-
Afternoon Session:

Additional Supervision (40 minutes total): £2.65
Fees are reviewed annually in March, with one month’s notice given for any changes.
If you prefer to avoid the additional supervision charge, children may be collected between 11:40 AM and 12:20 PM.
Late Payments & Additional Charges:
-
A £10 late payment fee will be applied if payment is not received by the due date.
-
If fees remain unpaid for one month, the nursery reserves the right to withdraw your child’s place
Notice of Withdrawal or Change in Hours:
If you wish to withdraw your child from nursery or make changes to their hours, one full month’s written notice is required. If this notice is not provided, you will be charged for the full month’s fees.
Funding Options:
15 Hours Free Universal Entitlement
All children aged 3 and 4 years old are entitled to 15 hours of free early education per week, during term time (38 weeks per year). This is available to all families, regardless of income.
30 Hours Free Childcare
Some families may be eligible for 30 hours of free childcare per week. To qualify, both parents (or a single parent in a single-parent household) must be working and earning the equivalent of at least 16 hours per week at the national minimum wage.
Key Points
Eligibility must be confirmed via the Government’s Childcare Choices website.
You can only start using the 30 hours from the term after you receive confirmation from HMRC.
To claim, parents must provide a valid 30-hour code and National Insurance number on the Parent Declaration Form.
Please submit your code promptly to avoid delays in funding.
Parents must reconfirm their eligibility every three months. HMRC will send reminders when it’s time to do this.

Nursery Lunches
Please note that children attending our Nursery are not able to access hot school meals. We kindly ask parents and carers to provide a healthy packed lunch for their child each day.
Lunchtime is an important part of our daily routine, offering children the chance to relax, enjoy their food, and develop valuable social skills as they eat together with their peers.
To help your child stay energised and ready for afternoon activities, we encourage you to pack a nutritious and balanced lunch. Aim to include a mix of foods that support healthy growth and sustained energy throughout the day.
