Nursery

The nursery day is split into morning,afternoon and full days:

• Morning: 8:45am – 11:45am

• Afternoon: 12:15pm – 3:15pm

• Full Day 08:45am-15:15pm

If you require an extra 30 minutes of supervision each day, this will be charged at £2.65 per day

Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

The school day begins at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15pm, divided into morning and afternoon teaching sessions.

• Morning Break:

  • Key Stage 1: 10:15am – 10:30am

  • Key Stage 2: 10:30am – 10:45am

Children are encouraged to eat a healthy snack at break time. Fruit is provided for Reception and Key Stage 1 children, while Key Stage 2 children should bring a healthy snack from home.

• Lunch: 11:45am – 12:45pm
  Many children enjoy a hot school dinner, while others bring a packed lunch from home.

Whole School

Drop-off and Colletion:

• Children should not arrive before 8:40am, as supervision is unavailable before this time.

• All children enter through the school playground once the gates are unlocked.

• Children arriving after 8:50am must report to the school office to be registered and admitted to class.

• Children are collected at 3:15pm from a designated point on the playground. In emergencies, children will wait in the entrance hall until collected by a parent or guardian.

At the start and end of the day, children are encouraged to go straight to their classrooms, where staff will be waiting. This helps promote independence.

We value communication with parents. If you need to speak to a class teacher, please do so at the start or end of the school day whenever possible.

At the beginning of each academic year, we ask parents to update the Arbor app to provide  information about who is authorised to collect their child each day. If collection arrangements need to change temporarily, You should update the change through the Arbor App.
