Lourdes Pilgrimage

We were delighted to hear about Rania, Elizabeth and David’s recent pilgrimage to Lourdes. Lourdes is a truly special place of prayer, reflection and faith, and it was wonderful to see them take part in such a meaningful and spiritual experience.

They were proud to represent our school as they joined staff from PFMAC, alongside pupils from other schools within the trust. This shared journey provided a valuable opportunity to meet new people, build friendships and feel part of a wider Catholic community.

During their time in Lourdes, they joined pilgrims from across the world, taking part in a range of services, including Mass, as well as the beautiful candlelit and Blessed Sacrament processions. They also spent time in quiet reflection, visiting the Grotto and participating in moments of prayer, which are at the heart of the Lourdes experience.

This pilgrimage gave them the opportunity to deepen their faith, grow in confidence and independence, and gain a greater understanding of the importance of compassion, service and community. It is an experience that will stay with them for many years to come.

We are incredibly proud of Rania, Elizabeth and David for the way they represented our school, embracing every opportunity with maturity and respect. They truly embodied our school values and we are delighted they were able to be part of such a special and inspiring journey.
