Year 5 have been investigating air resistance by designing and testing parachutes with different-sized canopies. The children made predictions, timed the descent of their parachutes and recorded their results to see how canopy size affected the rate of fall.

It was fantastic to see such great teamwork and scientific thinking throughout the investigation. Well done, Year 5 – and we're pleased to report that no Lego people were harmed in the process!
